I have been taking voice and piano lessons with Miss Marianna for over a year. She is a great teacher and has a lot of patience with students who are just beginning to learn how to sing and play a musical instrument. I enjoy playing the piano and have performed in lots of Miss Marianna's recitals and a Holiday Shows. I will perform again in the 2012 shows and will be working again on NYSSMA this year.

My name is Kristina and I am 13 years old. I take piano and voice lessons in private class. I started taking lessons when I was 6 years old. Marianna is a very nice music teacher. I'm so happy that I can play piano and sing and be with my sister Alicia. I have been playing piano for 7 years and I love it. I need to practice more to be as great as my awesome music teacher, though. Marianna is smart, kind, sweet, funny, pretty, and amazing. I'd love to be as great as she is! I am happy playing piano and will never stop. It is hard work to play piano but it is so worth it. I love having Marianna as my piano teacher! Marianna is also awesome at singing. She is a very talented opera singer and I love to hear her sing. I've been singing and practicing my breathing techniques since I was 6 years old as well as piano. Marianna is such a wonderful teacher--she helped me achieve outstanding and excellent grades in NYSSMA. I've also been singing songs in the studio's Summer Music and Drama Program. I would love to keep singing for many more years!
